well…
OK, this is my first post in my first blog…hey! Hello! Thanks for dropping by. I’m into sports, such as tennis, football, soccer, bowling, racing, baseball, basketball, curling (lol j/k), you get the picture. I’m a Trekkie, a Jesus Freak, and a Sooner born and raised. I guess I’l be using this mostly to post bowling stuff, thanks to Richie for the idea.
Today:
100, 113, 130, 128, 106
I’m getting the hang of the old Thunderbolt now, i finally found my line around the fifth frame of game one. I was bowling on one lane with brother and cousins. No strikes, but consistently dropping 7 or 8. The White Dot is amazing for spares, I missed one of 8 makeables. Game two I did a little better, striking twice. After the two games, I changed lanes and bowled by myself on one lane. In the third game I almost had a 4-bagger: X X 8/ X I wound up with 5 X’s for my best of the day, and tied second best in my young career. About the same in game 4, but by the end i was missing just a bit because of the thumb rubbing, and my arm was getting tired. Game 5 wrapped up with one X and 7 spares, all perfect.
I went to the Pro Shop to look for shoes, but still nothing. I expected to have some Friday, but there’s no word on when the exiting GM, Brent Moore, will come and sign off on the order. I’m also almost ready for the Street Rod Pearl, but I’m wavering between 14 and 15 lbs. I can throw 15, but I’m not used to that kind of heft just yet. Then again, I won’t get used to it unless I use it…and i have until early august to get everything I need.
I will be going for my usual 4 games Friday with the family, we’ll see how the arm/thumb hold up with more rest time between frames.
Peace Out, JB

Glad to see I was able to serve as inspiration for you, Jared. Happy posting!
